I have really gotten into this style if pottery.

Being productive this past week was quite the struggle. I had no energy to do anything and felt like doing something creative but couldn't come up with any ideas. My usual creative endeavours like the facebook outfits and store displays were just not cutting it. This morning, while I was making breakfast, it dawned on me that I could make my own products for the store. As soon as I thought of this - ideas were flowing like crazy. I couldn't wait to get to the store to write everything down. I am slowly learning how important it is for me to make things with my hands. I have always designed but never really made. Do you find this is important for you as well? I would love to know. Hope you have a great week!

I have taken quite the break from blogging. I think I needed some time to figure out whether the content I put on the blog was what I wanted to represent the store. Sometimes things, even if they are good, can feel a bit repetitive. I let myself take as much time as I needed and what is funny is that I actually started to miss posting especially certain posts like the inspiration boards. I am glad to be back at it! Love this dress!

Last Friday was Art Crawl. I had a good feeling it was going to be an amazing day. And it was. It felt like being in New York for the day. There was so much happening and so much energy on the street. It reminded me of when I first opened for super crawl and how crazy the street was and how much energy I had. When I first opened the store I was like the energizer bunny - I had a ton of energy. I was up at 7am everyday working til midnight or 1am. I wasn't even tired. I havn't had that same kind of frenzy of energy since. It's not like I am lazy, don't get me wrong, I work a ton. I just don't have that same rush of energy. I would really like to tap back into it. Any suggestions? I am all ears. In the meantime I hope you all have a great week!
